(“Halcyon Futures,” or “we,” or “us”) may collect information about you when you access our website located at halcyonfutures.org (the “Site”) and how we may use, store, share, or otherwise process that information. What Information Do We Collect About Site Users?
You may explore the Site without providing any personal information (information that identifies you, could be used to identify you, or is specifically linkable to you). But we invite you to provide us with certain information about you through our Contact Us form on the Site. In that form, you may provide your full name, company affiliation, a link to your LinkedIn profile, your email address, your skills and experience, a brief biography, and the areas related to Halcyon Futures that are of most interest to you. You may also provide any other information about yourself that you think might be relevant to our potential relationship with you.
We also automatically collect information about you that relates to your use of the Site. We collect this information automatically through browser navigational tools, such as cookies, which can recognize your visits to the Site by identification of the computer or device that you are using to access the Site. In addition to our own cookies, we use Google Analytics to collect data on user interactions with the website by tracking page views, user behavior, user visit duration, and user locations. The data helps us in optimizing the Site's performance and understanding user engagement. Our Services are not directed to minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from any individuals under age 16.
How Do We Use the Information We Collect?

Responding to Requests. To respond to your requests, such as to answer your questions sent through the “Contact Us” form on the Site.

We may disclose personal information as we believe to be appropriate in the following circumstances: (i) when required by applicable law, including laws outside your country of residence; (ii) to comply with legal process (iii) to respond to requests from public and government authorities; (iv) to enforce the terms and conditions for use of the Services, including this Notice; (v) to protect and defend our rights and property; (vi) to protect the interests of Halcyon Futures or others; and (vii) to permit us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain. How Do We Maintain and Protect Personal Information?
Security. We use reasonable organizational, technical and administrative measures to help protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. However, no data transmission over the Internet or data storage system is reliably 100 percent secure. We cannot guarantee complete security of the information you provide to us.
Data Retention. We will retain personal information about you for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Notice.
Rights You May Have Regarding Your Personal Information
Depending on the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside, you may have one or more of the following rights with respect to some or all of your personal information:

We cannot grant your request if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request.
Please be aware, as noted, that we are not obligated to grant all requests that you may make, depending on applicable law. We endeavor to respond to a verifiable request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 45 additional days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.
Collection of Your Personal Information by Others
Tracking on Our Site. We do not currently allow others to collect the personal information of visitors to our Site for their own use. As noted above, however, we use Google Analytics to collect information about Site visitors in order to provide us with analytics that help us to improve the Site.
Other Websites. The Site may contain links to websites operated by parties not affiliated with Halcyon Futures. These linked websites are not under our control, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the contents of any such unaffiliated parties or their websites. If you provide personal information through any such third-party website, the personal information will be collected by that third party and controlled by its privacy policy, not this one. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the privacy policies and practices of any such third parties.
International Transfers of Information.
By using the Services, you are deemed to understand and unambiguously consent to the collection and processing of your personal information in the United States, with the awareness that the laws of the United States may not provide as much protection for personal information as the laws of certain other countries or territories.
